  Project Description

  Geographical Coverage:
States of New Jersey, New York and the Territories of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands

[ top ]

  Project Purpose:
The primary objective of the Region 2 Risk Ranking Project is to compare the risk posed by the different environmental problems facing the New York/New Jersey/Caribbean Region. The intent of the project is not only to inform EPA staff and managers, but to inform and to influence the public debate over environmental issues as well. Another objective is to use the results as a critical component of a strategic planning process for the region.
