District of Columbia

  Project Purpose:
To examine the universe of environmental problems in the District of Columbia, analyze what should be the priorities among these problems, and make some suggestions about possible initiatives to help address the Districts environmental problems.

  Ranking Process:
Based upon review of the scientific and public heath literature, professional staff from the non-profit organization Resources for the Future ranked Health, Ecological, and Welfare effects in the District of Columbia. After completing these three rankings, the professional staff integrated the rankings with the Public Ranking to create the Overall Ranking.
